(CNN) -- A chimpanzee in an Oklahoma zoo escaped from his exhibit on Monday, but was coaxed back to safety with no reported injuries, said a zoo spokeswoman.

The male chimp was found in a dry moat, meant to separate the animals from the zoo's visitors. It was not immediately clear how he broke out of his habitat.

Video images from CNN affiliate KFOR in Oklahoma City showed the animal walking alongside the steep wall of the moat, oblivious to the commotion he caused.

"We didn't want to have to dart him and create more undue stress, so the situation took a little longer. And now everyone is where they're supposed to be," said Tara Henson, a spokeswoman with the Oklahoma City Zoo.

I have been a customer of Food Lion in Lynchburg Virginia for 15 months now. When I started seeing the stand-up cardboard cut outs of the lady holding all that cash, I thought to myself "Sweet... maybe my luck will finally change and we'll get some grocery goodness".

Hell fucking NO!

I don't know about anyone else but my girlfriend and I must have gotten, at the very least, a hundred of these good for nothing scratch cards. Every single one of them is "$1 Cash".

Literally, I have in my hand, right this very second, 14 of these bogus cards... each and every one is for "$1 Cash". I have never seen one for any other denomination.. neither has anyone else I know.

All this is, is a HUGE marketing scheme to get you to buy "Great Value" products.

Food Lion on Bedford Avenue in Lynchburg Virginia... Allows their employees to follow customers, on the clock, to take pictures of them with their cell phones. When said employees are complained about, nothing is done about it. Maybe it's because I don't "fit in" with the general populous of the community. Maybe they were following me because I have tattoos and piercings and they thought I was going to steal Sudafed(r) to make speed because they're backwards ass holes and think any white person that looks the way I do automatically does and manufactures methamphetamine's.... (I actually got stopped and detained by a fucking ass hole of a COP in Lynchburg for this very reason. I "fit the description"... Their first red flag sould have been that my ID was from California... NOT this God forsaken, hypocritical shit hole.

xbox 360 Lego Harry Potter Broom Glitch

OK.. so my girlfriend just found an annoying glitch due to incomplete code in Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 for xbox 360.

In the courtyard facing the clock tower you get a broom. If you take the broom through the arch way behind the pendulum and all the way up that back wall, you'll jump behind the background tiles and fly to other sections of the game.

Unfortunately I cannot take screen shots to show what I'm talking about.

In one instance she ended up behind the background tiles near the Herbology building. The game recognized her near the door, but kept bucking her off of her broom thus getting stuck in a death loop. We had to exit to Diagon Alley.

If you get frustrated easily, don't try this.
If you have not saved in a while do not try this!

It totally reminds me of old Mario 64 glitches.

So last night, I decided it was time for me to take a stab at quitting smoking again. It worked out perfectly.. I had my last cigarette right before I went to bed. I haven't had a cigarette yet today...

So, I think I have figured out where this fucking thing is coming from BUT it may be a few other things thats out of our control.

-The first time it happened, Amanda was on StumbleUpon.

-The second time it happened, I was transferring files (funny images from StumbleUpon) from a jump drive to my PC.

-The third time it happened... I was on StumbleUpon...

Coincidence? Possibly...

Another thing that could be possible is that the virus has nested itself in the bios chip of the wireless router. If that's the case then we have a serious problem. We "borrow" the interweb from a neighbor. It's not like we can go knocking on door and ask "excuse me, but do you own the 'XXXX' wireless network? You do? Well, I cracked your password and have been stealing interwebs from you for the past 6 months. I think there is a virus nested in your router. Could you kindly buy a new one? Thanks"

Every single time this happens, I have to:
Download MaleWareBytes', restart in safemode, run the program, re-boot, ctrl+alt+delete, kill the av.exe process, start/run/regedit, spend an hour in the registry deleting any file associated with av.exe, download an .exe file association registry fix, run MaleWareBytes' (again), uninstall FireFox, go back into the registry and delete anything to do with FireFox, download NEW FireFox, reinstall NEW FireFox, uninstall Avast!, go into the registry and delete anything to with Avast!, download NEW Avast!, reinstall NEW Avast!... re-boot, let Avast! do the boot-time scan

And thats it right? So far thats what I have done and it's worked.. all three times. The bitch of the thing is the time that it takes to do all of that...

Josh's PC: 3 hard drives, 4 usb drives= 5-6 hours

The Legacy

I have created a "Definitive Homepage" called The Legacy.
There are 25 useful "everyday" links in the upper left. They range from the most popular social networking sites, popular email clients, most popular photo hosting sites, most common news sites etc...

The search engine was the hardest part for me to get just right. At first I was using googles' adsense for search, but they banned me for enticing users to use my page. I tried ripping googles code, but they're using api's and style sheets that just would not work. This morning I was able to crack Yahoo!'s search parameters and utilize them for The Legacy.

Yes, there is a banner ad at the upper right and text links at the bottom of the page, BUT there are A LOT more on regular search engines.... I get a fraction of a cent for each page impression. As little as that seems, it all adds up in the end and that's why I need your help.

Please bookmark The Legacy and set it as your default homepage.
It would help me more than you could ever imagine.

XBOX Mod: Remote Controller LED

One night I randomly had a wild hair to do a small and simple mod. I had the xbox controller in my hand and a light lit above my head. I thought 'What if I put a light on the controller that indicated when a button was pushed?' I already have an LED on the console that lights when a signal is received, but this one would tell me when to replace the battery's. The older the battery's, the dimmer the LED.

This project took me about 10 minutes:

First I opened up the remote and examined the board.

Then I drilled the hole for the LED, soldered wires to said LED and hot glued said LED in place. (red for + and green for -)

I placed the board back in and soldered the red wire to the pos(+) on the battery bracket and the neg(-) to the second pin from the bottom on the yellow block. Bam, that's it...

Like I said, it took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. Most of the time was waiting for the soldering iron to heat up. Thanks for reading this work log.

XBOX Mod: The Stormtrooper Box

This xbox started as a pile of spare parts from abandoned projects. I was barely able to scrape together enough pieces to make it complete. The lid came from a $10.00 eBay score. The faceplate was from an abandoned 2.5" tft install. The dvd drive was thrashed but luckily the PCB still worked. The motherboard and hard drive was a matching set and about all this poor thing had going for it.

First I took the jewel off of the lid so I could "clear" it and later paint it. Then I shaved off about a half inch off of the top of the face plate.

Then I made temporary brackets by hot gluing tooth picks. I took a piece of plastic from an old monitor to fill in the huge hole that was previously cut for the TFT screen. On the bottom left, there was a hole cut for a USB port. I taped over the front of the hole and filled it and the gaps with epoxy from the back side, let it dry and again from the front.

While the epoxy was drying I started working on the back of the base. Nothing special here... I cut off the same amount off the back that I did off of the front... about a half inch.

Next, I cleaned off the top of the lid. I took the stickers off, masked the fins and sanded everything smooth. What you can't see is a small hole from where the previous owner stabbed it. I had to fill that in with plastic putty and sand it smooth as well. Again, I cut off about a half inch from the rear bottom part of the lid... I did it by hand so it took a little bit of time and a lot of patients. Then I flipped the lid over and sanded off the protrusions from the inside of the fins about half way down. What is not pictured is how I cut the fins perfectly to contour the bottom lip of the case.

I sanded the face plate smooth then to it and the lid out back to primer them. While the primer was drying in the sun I painted the back side of the jewel. After the jewel, I wet sanded the primer, added a second coat and then painted it all white. You can see the excellent contrast the jewel has against the white of the "x".

Something happened and I had to re-paint both the black and the white. I was upset about having to re-paint so I didn't take any pictures other than the two above.

In the above pictures, you can see the thrashed dvd drive. I don't even know what happened to it but the logic board, or "PCB", still worked and that's all I needed from it. Also above are the motherboard, or "mobo", the hard drive and the plastic DVD caddy. I shaved A LOT of plastic off of the DVD caddy and drilled holes in the left side for the HDD screws. (not pictured)

Towards the end I was so excited about getting finished that I didn't take too many pictures. There isn't really much else to say. It later got a 4.1 compatible PSU (power supply unit) and was sold do a guy in Florida.

Total time I spent on this was 8 hours... 4 hours a day for 2 days in a row. I had a plan, I had the means and just did work son. The Storm Trooper box was born.

I hate all of the "Google is Hiring" ad's.. I hate all of the ad's where people claim that they make $75.00, $100.00, up to $350.00 a day using google...

I'm going to tell you all this, and it's the bitter truth... They're all... ALL scams.

This is how 'most' of them work: You paypal them "X" amount of dollars and they send you a "package" or a "kit" that teaches you their "system". The system is either a poorly written .pdf file, .txt file, word document or, in some cases, an excel file. Basically they give you instructions on how to set up your adsence account, instructions on how to set up a paypal account and gives you an HTML template to make your own web page.

This is the biggest crock of BS in the world. Way to take advantage of nieve single mothers struggling to make it to the next day. Way to take advantage of un-aducated persons (like myself) trying to make a little extra money because their "regular" jobs aren't sufficient enough. They're all jerks.

I have literally cracked the code... I'm not just saying this, and I know I sound like all of those ad's, but I figured out how to do it... for free.... without all of the bull shit involved. Here is how:
-I signed up for adsense. (fast, easy and free, big whoop)
-I created a ::FREE:: blog with blogger.
-I made it interesting, targeting a certain "demographic".
-I held contests, games and treasure hunts... all having to do with the user trying to find the password to a .rar file hosted (for FREE) at File Factory
-I made a lot of posts, with a lot of pictures. (hosted at Share A Pic**) The images were aligned to a table inside of an iframe so each post, theoretically, had it's own page. After every grid of 9 images (each image linked to a unique gallery with 250+ images), I would place an adsense ad. Usually there was 3 grids with 3 banner ad's. The reason I would place them in an iframe is because adsense only allows 3 banner ad's per page and an iframe is a page within a page.
-On the page contained within the iframe I had a "master list" of google's most valuable keywords. The i frame was borderless and cut off the keywords so nobody was the wiser.
-I took a screen shot of an adsense ad and cropped it down to actuall ad size (486 x 60) and hosted it on a free website I had available.
-Then I made a blank image the same distentions as the "fake" ad and typed a password on it in big plain letters.
-Under a random grid of gallerys, I placed a link to the password using the screen shot as a thum nail so it blended right in.
-I made a post offering something that I thought everyone would want and told them that the password to the .rar was hidden on the blog disguised as an ad.

What happened:

You wouldn't believe the amount of click I got. I literally watched my revenue rise over the course of the day from single digit to triple digits. My first check would have been well over $500.00 for the month. However, I made one VITAL mistake. Before they cut the check they have to verify that the clicks were not falsely generated so they investigate where the traffic was coming from. Google owns blogger, so they have every right on earth to go snooping through my posts to make sure that I didnt ask anyone to click my ad's.... OOPS.. Busted. They deactivated my account and banned me from ever getting a new one.

In Conclusion:

My way does work... I was just sloppy about how I did it.
Maybe it would work for some of you? Who knows. But don't buy anything to make money. That's all BS... they're making money off of YOU and telling YOU how to make money by scamming other people they way they scammed you. Don't do it. It's immoral. Don't take advantage of people in these hard times...

**Share A Pic is a picture host that is not unlike photo bucket that pay's you $0.002 for every image click. I have made no less than $100.00 (extra) a month from them... I, of course, post A LOT of pictures in A LOT of places to reach that goal. It is work, so don't sign up and think it'll make you rich or a lot in a short period of time. Be prepared to "Do Work Son" :)
